As our chief financial officer, Judy Riley is much more than just the person in charge of our finances—she’s the positive energy and organizational force that keeps everything running smoothly. Her ability to stay calm under pressure and maintain a professional atmosphere in a dynamic, fast-moving environment is invaluable.

With a master’s degree in business administration, her management abilities have led to the development of accounting, cost, and sales management systems that are the backbone of our administrative functions. She coordinates settlements and assists with product development and interior designs. Judy has been with us since 1986, earning the trust and respect of everyone she works with.

Dan Crone is one of our three dedicated site superintendents and has been a vital part of LANCASTER CRAFTSMEN BUILDERS INC. since 1989. As a skilled craftsman, Dan takes charge of all the custom details that make each of our homes unique. His unwavering commitment to perfection ensures that every project meets the highest standards for our homeowners.

A low-key, quiet family man, Dan is always on the move, ensuring everything stays on track and on schedule. He is often seen literally running from task to task, and his dedication doesn’t stop when the workday ends. Dan often makes evening calls from his home to make sure there are no loose ends and schedules are met.

Before joining LANCASTER CRAFTSMEN BUILDERS INC. in 2010, Jay Cody had already built hundreds of homes for one of the area’s most respected builders. His experience and expertise are evident in his ability to seamlessly manage production and balancing multiple tasks while ensuring deadlines are met without compromising quality.

Always the gentleman, Jay has a natural ability to build strong, lasting relationships with clients through his thoughtful approach and unwavering personal standards. It’s not uncommon to find him at a job site, even on his day off.

Chris Pirrone joined our team in January 2023, bringing with him six years of experience as a job superintendent. A dedicated family man, Chris is married with three children. A proud graduate of Middletown High School, he stays active in his community by coaching basketball and football in his spare time. His strong leadership and hands-on experience make him a valuable addition to the LANCASTER CRAFTSMEN BUILDERS INC. team.

Mike Moran is a talented graduate of the Thompson Institute in Harrisburg, PA, holding a degree in Computer-Aided Drafting and Design with a focus on architectural and mechanical drafting. Since joining us in January 2008, Mike has elevated our construction designs, renderings, and 3D architecture to new heights. His innovative perspective allows clients to truly visualize their dream homes, making the design process more interactive and engaging.

Charles Jenkins has been an integral part of LANCASTER CRAFTSMEN BUILDERS INC. since 2005, overseeing our sales and marketing efforts. As a licensed real estate broker, Charles brings extensive experience in both new home and land sales to the team. His leadership extends beyond our company—he is a former member of the Board of County Commissioners for Frederick County and a delegate in the Maryland General Assembly.

Charles has also served as past president of the Sales & Marketing Council of the Frederick County Builders Association. In addition to his role at our company, he is a real estate broker and oftentimes is help to help with land searches or help market the existing homes of our clients.

Peter is in and out of our office doing a myriad of tasks! Aside from being BPI-certified in conducting energy audits, Peter plays a key role in scheduling jobs and managing the procurement of materials for our projects. A proud graduate of Wesley College in Delaware and Montgomery College in Construction Management, he has been with the company since the age of 14.

Peter’s commitment to the business is a driving force behind our continued pursuit of excellence. He lives in Frederick with his wife and two sons, and his involvement in the company ensures a bright future for LANCASTER CRAFTSMEN BUILDERS INC.

Our carpenters—Mike Chaney, Chad Romsburg, and Owen Connelly—bring a combined total of over 50 years of experience to LANCASTER CRAFTSMEN BUILDERS INC. Their craftsmanship is second to none, with a level of precision and skill that could easily qualify them as instructors in their trade.

Since joining LANCASTER CRAFTSMEN BUILDERS INC. in 2021, Katie Darr has played a crucial role in handling administrative tasks across the company. She recently served as board member (Secretary) of SOAR Frederick.
