Dear Mark,

I am sorry it has taken me so long to write this note. We cannot thank you enough for all of the time and hard work that went into our renovations. We absolutely love it and are so appreciate of everything you did for us. The house is so much warmer than it ever was and having more space has made our life so much more pleasant. There are no more lines for the bathroom at the Terry household and the best is all the children can take a shower whenever they want! No fighting for the first shower!

We had twenty-one 8th graders over for dinner and they all had seats! I love the space in the kitchen and for some reason I am particularly pleased with the space behind the basement door that leads into the living room. I love this space.

The porch is lovely and I look forward to the spring weather and a few hours on the porch in the evening. I serve on several committees (PTA, swim team) and I was never able to host the meetings and now I can! It is so great to say "come on over to our house!" We were thrilled to have Thanksgiving at our house.

I know my husband would have never agreed to the addition if anyone other than you were doing it. We were free of all of the headaches and worries associated with most renovations because we could completely trust Lancaster Craftsmen Builders and we know we got a terrific deal.

We looked at all the area builders and chose Lancaster Craftsmen Builders because they build a true custom home. This is the first house we've built, and we heard horror stories from other people, but Lancaster was great. They're a mid-sized builder, so you get the attention you deserve. All of their employees are experienced and knowledgeable. The superintendent we had on our home was exceptional and the quality of work by the subcontractors was great.

We started with a floor plan we had in mind, and Mark made suggestions. He has a very good sense of design and an eye for things we hadn't even thought about. He really understands what will add value and how things will look. And they showed us on the computer — so we could see, for example, how different sized beds would look in a room.

With a traditional builder, the options seem to add so much to the cost. With Lancaster, the standard features are upgrades and we literally selected everything we wanted. Not only did we get to choose all the appliances, finishes, plumbing fixtures and light fixtures, we actually walked through with the electrician to decide where we wanted fixtures and electrical outlets … and he made excellent recommendations.

Lancaster was very willing to work with us on changes we requested, and any issues we had along the way were addressed immediately. And after you move in, you're not referred to a customer service department. You still work with the same people for follow-up. We love our new house and feel like we got an outstanding value - a custom home that's competitively priced with the production builders.
